As we head into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to share an update on where TyreTec is headed, what we’ve been working on behind the scenes, and what you can expect next.

While we haven’t always been shouting about every change, development at TyreTec has very much continued — with a strong focus on improving day-to-day workflows, reducing admin, and making stock management smarter and more connected.

Looking Back: Smarter Purchase Orders

Back in November, we introduced Smarter Purchase Orders, a major step forward in how tyres move from suppliers into your stock.

This update made it possible to:

• Create purchase orders directly in TyreTec
• Track outstanding orders clearly
• Receive tyres into stock with just a few clicks when they arrive

This feature laid important groundwork for what’s coming next — especially around supplier integrations and automation.

Quality of Life Improvements That Make a Difference

Alongside bigger features, we’ve also been focusing on a series of quality-of-life improvements designed to make TyreTec smoother and more intuitive to use every day.

This includes:

• Tweaks to imprest stock handling, improving accuracy and control
• Improvements to the management of invoices and credits relating to imprest stock
• Refinements aimed at reducing friction in common workflows

These changes may seem small individually, but together they help reduce errors, save time, and make stock and financial tracking clearer and more reliable.

Direct Supplier Integrations: A Big Step Forward

One of our key focus areas moving into 2026 is Direct Supplier Integrations.

We’ve already integrated with two suppliers:

• Oak Tyres
• ETB Tyres

With these integrations, you can:

• Search for any tyre directly within TyreTec
• See live stock availability
• View real-time pricing
• Compare options across suppliers before making a decision

This brings supplier data closer to where you already work — reducing the need to switch systems, retype information, or double-check availability.

Looking Ahead: Where We’re Going Next

Our long-term vision for supplier integrations goes even further.

We’re continuing conversations with additional suppliers, with the aim of expanding coverage across the tyre trade. Beyond that, we’re actively working towards live ordering directly from TyreTec.

The goal is simple:

• Find the tyre
• Compare availability and pricing
• Click a button to order
• Automatically create a Smart Purchase Order in your system

No duplication. No missed steps. No extra admin.

This ties directly into the work already done with Smarter Purchase Orders and represents a major step towards a fully connected ordering and stock workflow.

2026 and Beyond

As we move through 2026, our focus remains the same:

• Reduce admin time
• Improve accuracy
• Make stock control simpler and smarter
• Build tools that reflect how garages actually work
